nWo wins Tech Tournament!

It is said that good things come in threes, and after Tannis' victory at NSO2 on Saturday, and Frostbeule's victory at XL Party in Porgugal on Sunday, it remained to be seen if Monday would complete the triad of good results.
It was the final of the Tech Tournament, a small teams tournament, which saw nWo and Dignitas facing each other for the win.
Many have called it a "dream match", as nWo and Dignitas are considered the two best teams in Trackmania Nations, however both these teams had never raced against each other before, and thus the week leading to the final was nerve wracking for both teams who could not really predict the outcome of the match.
The match started at 20:30CET, and was played on Team nWo's server, which had a live scorebot broadcasting the detailed results as they happened.
The following nWo players raced in the final:  Ddie;  Gnom;  Sandder;  spy; Tannis;  VranaC
Detailed results of each map follows:
TT-Loco-A
nWo lineup: Ddie, Gnom, Tannis, VranaC
Dignitas lineup: Gallo, Medic, Selrahc, Xenogear
The match started off really close, however soon it became clear that despite both teams finishing closely, Dignitas were stronger overall on this map.
nWo tried to mount a comeback, however it was not enough, and in the end Dignitas took the map with a decisive victory.
Score: 2 - 7
TT-Haze-B2
nWo lineup: Ddie, Sandder, spy, Tannis
Dignitas lineup: Gallo, Medic, Pezi, Xenogear
Things were extremely hot on this map.
For a while nWo was in the lead, however Dignitas came back, and with much pushing and shoving from both sides it was unclear who would win this map until the very end.
Pezi made a really strong performance for Dignitas, however Sandder was there to stop him in his tracks, with the rest of nWo following closely behind, and thus nWo ended up winning the map.
Score: 7 - 5
TT-Guykes-C02
nWo lineup: Ddie, Sandder, spy, VranaC
Dignitas lineup: Gallo, Pezi, Selrahc, Xenogear
Onto the multilap map, which was to be the decider map of this match.
From the start, it was evident that nWo was much stronger on this map, and after many laps around this track, nWo ended up winning the map with a solid performance, and thus winning the final.
Score: 5 - 1
Overall Score: nWo 2 - 1 Dignitas
This was an intense match, with both teams giving everything they had, and at the end of the day nWo came out on top with an exciting victory!
For now, many of our players are going to focus on ESWC, and the next team tournament we play will probably be Stadium Teams Championship 5 in September. However keep an eye on the website as we update you with more news and achievements from our players.
We'd like to thank Rastadocta and his team for running Tech Tournament.
The maps, structure, and matches were all great, and the tournament really ran smoothly.
